Last Weekend our family drove up to St. George to visit Greg's parents and see some shows at Tuacahn. We left Thursday night after Greg got home from work, and drove to Flagstaff where Camille had beds ready for us. It was fun visiting them, Adelyn and Nolan are getting so big! They took us to the gym where Camille works and we got to go swimming for a couple of hours. We brought a picnic lunch and even got to see Tia and her two kids. It was fun! In the afternoon we drove off to St. George and got the the theater in time to eat with John and Ronette before "Cinderella" started. It was the Rodgers and Hammerstein version (the one Brandi starred in)and was cute and entertaining. The kids loved it.
After getting to bed late, we slept in Sat. morning, then went swimming again this time at the in-law's condo where we were staying. They also have a game room where we played as well. At dinner time, we went back out where Grandma and Papa John had been busy working all day, and had them watch the little ones while we enjoyed "My Fair Lady". It was really fun. I loved the costumes (not a predjudiced opinion) and the acting and singing were great. The horse race was cool. Even the boys thought the play was "okay". Well, Ben fell asleep right after intermission, but Kyle liked it. Another late night! One highlight: they boys were having a pillow fight and Ben knocked out Kyle's wiggly front tooth!
Sunday morning we went to church, and then packed a lunch and drove up to Zion's National Park. After a yummy picnic, we drove to where the shuttle busses were. Ominous clouds rolled in and pouring rain followed the awesome thunder and lightning. My kids were enthralled. It rained the whole 45 mins that we were riding in the bus and we couldn't see a whole lot, but it was just sprinkling when we got to the last stop, so we hiked the "river walk" to the "narrows" where the canyon flanks the Virgin River. We didn't go too far because of the flash flood danger, but we had fun dipping our feet and splashing around. The kids were great, and didn't even notice that they'd walked 2 miles. Mia was totally entertained by the overly friendly squirels we encountered. It was hilarious! We drove through some tunnels next and saw some beautiful views. It was getting dark, so we drove back to the Titensor's. Another late night as we didn't eat dinner until 10 o'clock!
After sleeping in and repacking and picking up, we had a final lunch with Greg's parents and said a sad goodbye and headed home. It was too short of a trip, but I'm glad we had the chance to go. I made a movie with our pictures - enjoy! PS sorry for the random pink pictures, just my camera being retarded...

What a fun trip! It looks like you guys had tons of fun. How fun that you got to stop in Flag and see Camille and Tia. I haven't talked to Camille in forever! How is she doing? 2 kids you said? Her and I were in the same year in school. Give her my blog and tell her I'd love to hear from her. Well, glad you guys had a blast.
