Warm Fuzzies

Last weekend our family had a blast attending not one, not two, but three Christmas parties! Friday night was the Chaffee's annual potluck where the kids ran around and played while the adults sat around little fireplaces in the driveway. The lights around their house are beautiful. Saturday evening we went to the Sellers and enjoyed homemade pizza and watched Christmas movies - The Grinch and A Muppet Christmas Carol. I guess it wasn't formally a party, but anytime our families get together it feels like one to me! Sunday afternoon we were entertained by our friends the Dewhursts. There were 5 families gathered to enjoy a scrumptious dinner and some deadly desserts. The book How the Grinch Stole Christmas was read by our favorite candle and clock (hilarious), and we sat around singing Christmas songs accompanied by guitars. See post title. Nothing gets me in the Christmas spirit quite like singing carols. Of course we had to finish out the evening with Mia coughing so hard she got sick. Good thing for tile floors! We hope that doesn't discourage future get togethers, we had so much fun. I'll probably post pictures later, when Kirsten gets them up. (I didn't take any!)
