Decorating for Christmas

We really love Christmas, so when Greg decided that we'd put up decorations on his day off, which was Tuesday last week, the kids were very excited. My only request was that we clean the carpets first, since Greg's family is coming for Christmas, so Monday night we shampooed away. Well, Tuesdays are really busy around here, and this one was no exception. While the boys were at school, we got out the decorations and put up some lights outside. About ten minutes after Kyle was home from school, he had to go to scouts, and as soon as he got home we ate dinner and then Greg was out the door for a Bishopric meeting and mutual. So, since we'd promised the kids a tree, we put it up without Greg, then the kids had to go to bed since they had school the next day. I wasn't about to tackle the lights, so those waited a few more days, until after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, when we finished putting the rest of the decorations on. Here are some highlights: oh, and one more thing, we found out that Mia loves to climb up ladders, who knew?
