Sleeping Beauty

Usually I'm nothing but full of praises for Missoula Children's Theater...this time? I don't know. Maybe the directors were new or they're just getting desperate. Either way, the lead couldn't sing. Period. It did NOT help that the pianist was a half deaf guy either. Add that with the tiny room we had to work with at the college (instead of the usual elementary cafeteria/stage) and it was just an uncomfortable evening. Of course Kendra was cute as a little grumpy caterpillar that turns to a butterfly, and I was happy that our good friends got some major roles, but still. Here's hoping next time we have a better experience!
