Christmas Eve 2007 - Hold on tight!

In the morning, Greg and his brothers in law went to get our yard toys from our old house so the cousins could have something to play on. This included our large trampoline. It's a good thing we only moved a mile and a half away! They got lots of funny looks.

Kyle was a big help! This is about as far as he would go, despite his uncles cheering him on.

Greg's brother Robert and his wife Jamie arrived with their four kids, Brandon, Sean, Natalia and baby Alauna on Monday. It was good to catch up with them and see the new baby, only 5 weeks old!! Around 5:00 my family came over, and we were also joined by our friend Tiffany and her little kids, Brandi and Travis. (Her husband was working so we invited her over) Then the festivities began. First a full on Turkey and ham dinner...yes we borrowed tables and chairs from the church. If being in the bishopric doesn't have some kind of perks, I'm not sure it's worth it! :)

Next we bundled up to ride in the back of the pick up truck and look at Christmas lights. This year there were so many of us that we had to take two!!

When we got home, we warmed up with hot chocolate, wassail, and a lively rendition of the nativity, complete with songs and scriptures, last minute costumes, and grumpy kids. I love it!!!


My family and Tiffany left after that, and Papa John read his Grandkids The Night Before Christmas and we opened our Christmas PJs.


Finally we went to bed to wait for Santa to arrive!
